The children have been enjoying preparing the soilbed for the flowers to grow through the summer...
They chose the different seeds they would like to plant and added them into the soilbed!
The children have been watering the seeds and they can now see some seeds have sprouted... They are excited to see the flowers soon!

The children enjoyed taking a trip to our local park where the Easter bunny had hidden lots of eggs to find...
They found all the eggs and enjoyed eating them all up!
The children have been interested in learning about different jobs..
As part of this theme, we had taken a trip to the local fire station and visited some firefighters. A parent who is a paramedic also come to visit the children, he had come to speak to the children in his uniform and show them some devices they use...
The lollipop lady also came to introduce herself to the children, she showed the children her lollipop and explained how it keeps her and the children safe when crossing the road!
Merry Christmas Everybody!!!!
During our Christmas Party, we had an exciting visit from Santa, he came on his sleigh from the north pole to give everyone their presents....
Everyone was on the good list this year!
The children have enjoyed decorating the Daycare and the Christmas tree in preparation for Santa who will be coming to deliver our presents soon!!!
The children have been learning about seasons, as part of our Autumn theme, the children took an autumnal walk through Clissold Park... They enjoyed looking at the trees, which had some red, some orange, some yellow, and some green leaves!
They also enjoyed collecting leaves, conkers and sticks for their collages!

The children enjoyed going trick or treating and returned with many treats! They enjoyed seeing all the different costumes everyone was dressed in on the streets... We saw many skeletons, pumpkins and ghosts walking around!
This month, the children celebrated Black History Month; they learnt about an artist called Alma Thomas and recreated one of her masterpieces... They also listened to a folktale story about Anansi the Spider!
The children have celebrated the end of an excellent year, Some children graduated the year and some graduated from Daycare to go to Reception...
We enjoyed jumping on the bouncy castle, eating lots of traditional indian food and meeting to party one last time before saying one very emotional goodbye to some!
We wish all our leavers all the best for their next adventures and hope to hear all about them!
As part of the children's interest in animals, we took a trip to Woburn Safari Park...
The children enjoyed sitting altogether in the coach and going through the safari where they saw many wild animals up close and in real life!
The children then enjoyed playing in a soft play area where they climbed up and went down several slides... The adults also enjoyed it!
We have enjoyed exploring nature during Forest school...
The children have loved exploring the natural environment, they have been enjoying a range of risk taking activities such as climbing the tree stumps and using strong branches as crutches to jump forward from. The children have also enjoyed incorporating the early years curriculum into their play such as counting how many pieces of bark they can carry in one hand or drawing the textures of the trees....
